Garlic powder

When you don't want the moisture or taste of fresh garlic cloves, or you want to make something
ahead of time to hold a little longer, garlic powder comes in handy.
Garlic powder can be used in several ways in the kitchen, including breads, soups, sauces, stews,
pasta, and pizza. It can also be combined with butter and herbs to make your own garlic bread.
Insects and other pests may be deterred by applying garlic powder to garden sprays. It may also be
used to add antiseptic, antibacterial, and fungicidal properties to ointments, creams, and lotions.

Garlic powder is a convenient alternative to fresh garlic. A half teaspoonful is similar to 2 cloves of
fresh garlic.
